As women traveling alone, we felt very safe and comfortable at Castilho Guest House. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with a hair dryer and electric kettle upon request. They even pointed out important locations on a map for us. the room was clean and relatively dry compared to other places we've stayed. the location was great, being close to both the city center and the beach. Our room had direct access to a nice backyard with a patio, and if booked together with another room, we could have had a private dining area.
